Über den Autor Abie Longstaff

Abie Longstaff begeisterte bereits während ihrer Kindheit in Hongkong und Australien ihre fünf jüngeren Geschwister mit magischen Geschichten. Heute lebt sie in London und verfasst erfolgreich Bilder- und Kinderbücher. Lauren Beard schrieb und illustrierte bereits als Kind Kurzgeschichten für ihre beiden jüngeren Brüder. Sie liebt es, ihren Illustrationen kleine Details hinzuzufügen, die Kinder und Erwachsene gleichermaßen ansprechen. Lauren lebt gemeinsam mit ihrer Katze Sushi, die ihr beim Zeichnen Gesellschaft leistet, in Manchester.Laura Bednarski, Jahrgang 1992, studierte Design und Illustration an der Fachhochschule Münster und der HAW Hamburg. Nach einigen Jahren in Münster und Hamburg lebt und arbeitet sie heute als freiberufliche Illustratorin im schönen Emsland in Niedersachsen.
