William Graham Sumner:William Graham Sumner war ein amerikanischer Sozialwissenschaftler und klassischer Liberaler. Er lehrte Sozialwissenschaften an der Yale University - wo er die erste Professur für Soziologie innehatte - und wurde zu einem der einflussreichsten Lehrer an einer anderen großen Universität.
